XWiki is an open-source wiki software application designed for knowledge sharing and collaboration.

How it Works

Projects members can use their Project XWiki to create project-related documentation, upload non-sensitive documents such as protocols, informed consent templates, or generate other content oriented to all Project team members.

The XWiki integration uses a single sign-on protocol and is configured for each Project by a Platform Administrator. Each project has its own private XWiki that all Project members can access directly from the Project interface to create and edit wiki pages. The Project-based XWiki makes use of the ”subWiki” feature. More information on how to use XWiki can be found through the application documentation: https://www.xwiki.org/xwiki/bin/view/Documentation/.

Prerequisites

  • Membership in the Project with any role.
  • XWiki has been configured for the Project by the Platform Administrator. See Getting Access to XWiki.

Data Stewardship

Users are reminded to abide by the Platform Terms of Use and any Project-specific restrictions when using Workspace tools to access data and code.

Getting Access to XWiki

If not already configured, Project Administrators may contact the Platform Administrator to set up the Project XWiki. For more information on how XWiki is configured, see Managing Projects > Managing XWiki.
